I made it to New Orleans for the rally today, but it seemed as though there was problems with getting there from the get go. On the way, I got into stand still traffic at a so-called construction sight. The thing is only one person was actually doing anything. He was holding the "slow" sign while there was about ten idiots just sitting on a guard rail doing nothing. So I got into New Orleans a little too late for the march to city hall. I called
Adrastos, and he recommended going right to city hall. After the rally, I bumped into
Adrastos and shortly after,
Dangerblond came along. I got to talk with them on the way back to the starting point, and then they dropped me off to pick up my car.
I have more pics, but I will get the rest up later. Blogger is being a bitch right now with the picture upload. I managed to get one done, but damn that took a long time! I will wait till blogger acts a little more user friendly to get some more up. Don't know why blogger is always losing connection.
The subject of some of the windows in city hall being opened and people watching from up there came up. I noticed it and snapped a couple of shots of it. Now that I have them on the computer, I could swear that one has Mayor Potato Head in it. If enlarged, it sure looks like him. I will put the rest up later.

Dear Donnie,
all my best. i love NOLA!
peace, peter
Looks like a good turnout! Keep on keeping on.
Hooray, Hooray, Hooray! I saw a write up of the protest on several mainstream media outlets! I kept looking to see if I could see you, but then, I don't know what you look like. silly me. Glad you could make it and am proud of everyone there.
CNN was there and covered it. You would have known me by my trademark cammo from head to toe.
Wow, what a great turn out. I am so glad you made it to the march. I hope you Mayor Potato Head picture turns out. This looks incredible. Just think, the heart and soul it took for all these people living with so many problems, to show up for a cause even greater than their own personal calamities. I am so proud of all of these people, and you too Donnie.
blogger is being tempermental today -- lost two posts of my own already...

check out the links -- most of them have expired -- now this is unforgivable!
I've been posting picture with Imageshack--you don't need to register and blogger got too frustrating.

I do have some stuff that I have posted at imageshack. I usually just u/l on blogger though. I might have to use imageshack this time. Blogger is just being really freaky!
Donnie, I am glad you got to go - I wish I had been able to join you all in NOLA.
Imagine what the $380,000,000,000 that's been wasted in Iraq could have done in NOLA?
Donnie,
[Blogger is working my last nerve.]
Where are all your pics, in one gallery, so I can link to them from my Media Roundup post?
They are on the next post up Matri. You might have to refresh the page. Another annoying thing about blogger. I just posted it.
So donnie, how many cops were there taking everone's picture for their potential terrorist watch list? I bet there were quite a few.
You need to google the Insurrection Act and see the new changes that the Republican Fascist Nazi's gave this madman running our country. Very telling as to how he gets around the Posse Comitatus Act.
Glad you made it there and back home safely.
God Bless all.
